This Introduction to Structural Modelling for Statisticians module is a standalone course in that the knowledge and skills can be taken and applied in many practical use cases. Nevertheless, it is designed to be the first module of a three-part eLearning journey, the subsequent modules are:
- Essential SDMX Structural Modelling which will define the essential SDMX modelling concepts and how to map from the statistical structural model to the SDMX information
- Essential SDMX and the Fusion Metadata Registry (FMR) which will provide an overview of the best free open-source metadata management tool and how to use it to manage the essential SDMX concepts.
This module has provided a robust methodological foundation for describing the structure of statistical data. The remaining modules in the series will take this expertise and empower you to actively participate in, or lead, innovation projects to digitalise statistical processes using the SDMX standard and available suite of open-source tools.
