Istat, under the umbrella of the Shared Tools Expert Group, has scheduled, with the support of Eurostat, a new “knowledge sharing” workshop on SDMX tools and implementations. It builds on the successful experience achieved in the 2014-2019 workshops and allows knowledge sharing among current and future SDMX implementers.
The workshop duration is three days, from Monday 12 June at 09:30 till Wednesday 14 June at 17:30; taking place at ISTAT - via Cesare Balbo 16, 00100 ROME.
After an introduction of the available SDMX implementations, the participants will be given demonstrations, with real life examples, on how the different tools are used within the organizations.
The workshop is intended for staff of statistical organizations involved in modernizing the data dissemination or data exchange business processes. Knowledge of SDMX is also beneficial.
While the participation in the workshop is free of charge, all travel, accommodation and personal expenses are to be covered by the participating organisation (or by the participant). Please apply for the participation sending an e-mail to rizzo@istat.it (Nadezhda.VLAHOVA@ec.europa.eu , alcardac@istat.it in cc).
Your participation will be confirmed by ISTAT via e-mail. Please note that specific invitation letters will not be issued. The places for the workshop are limited to 60 participants.
